nizima LIVE 2.0 is Now Available with a Huge Update!
Full-body Tracking, New Models by ”Irasutoya” and More
Hello, this is the nizima LIVE management team. We have released nizima LIVE 2.0, a face tracking app for VTubers!
nizima LIVE 2.0 – New Features
Full-body Tracking with Sony’s mocopiⓇ
You can now track full-body movements by connecting to Sony’s mobile motion capture device, “mocopi”! You’ll be able to move your Live2D model from the waist down. We are also distributing the sample model “Hiiragi Arisa”, which supports full-body and hand tracking, as well as another new sample model for full-body tracking. You can use these models to try out full-body tracking and as references for modeling.
These sample models are included in nizima LIVE, so any users can use them. These original data for Live2D riggers can be downloaded from nizima LIVE official website. Please refer to the nizima LIVE manual for a list of tracking parameters.
To use the mocopi collaboration feature, open Camera Settings > mocopi Settings on nizima LIVE and enable mocopi. Then, follow the connection instructions from the mocopi app. For more details, please refer to the nizima LIVE tutorial.
*Sony’s mocopi is required to use this feature.
New「Irasutoya」Live2D Models
The “Irasutoya” Live2D models are now available. These models support full-body tracking with mocopi, including facial, arms, and legs movement.
If you don’t have your own Live2D model, then you can use and stream with these Irasutoya Live2D models.
A total of 10 models are planned for release, and will be added over time.
You can use these models by selecting and downloading your favorite one from the ‘Model List’ on nizima LIVE.
*”Irasutoya” are illustrations by the artist Takashi Mifune.
”Irasutoya” generally prohibits the use of their materials for VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) purposes, but they have made a special exception for nizima LIVE.
*You must agree to the “nizima LIVE Software License Agreement” and “nizima LIVE Sample Model Terms of Use” for use.
New Auto-calibration Feature
You can now automatically calibrate tracking sensitivity.
Simply follow the on-screen instructions to adjust your face movement settings for optimal performance.
You can adjust the calibration settings via “Camera Settings” > “Advanced Settings” in nizima LIVE.

●Improved Parameter Settings Usability
We have made it easier to set up movements in nizima LIVE by adding tutorial videos, help buttons, updating the parameter link UI, and displaying current tracking values.
●Support for In-app Updates
With an improved installer, updates can be completed within the app since version 2.0, enabling easier access to the latest version. You no longer need to open the download page for every update.
●Enhanced Shortcut Feature
You can now assign shortcut keys to many functions, such as resetting the camera and opening each function window. This can be configured under “Settings/Other” > “Options”.
●New Visual Effects
New effects have been added, including “CRT”, “Radial Blur”, “Vignette” and “Simple Camera Map(β)”.
●Improved Script Feature
The script feature has been expanded with new event additions, enhanced API, and improved UI.
Nizimaru Eve has debuted as the official character.
With the update to version 2.0, we’ve introduced “Nizimaru Eve” as the official character of nizima LIVE! Through Nizimaru Eve, we will be able to deliver the latest news and features of nizima LIVE directly to our users.
The character design was created by Wata, known for working with many popular VTubers, and the Live2D modeling was done by Shibafu Kanata. Please look forward to Nizimaru Eve’s future activities.
